This concept is not terrible, but "different" to consider time as an additional variable.
Try the Desmos setup.. or TI-graphers... I THINK I came up with something that will help. If you click on the link above...it should work ok. I made it read the following set up..
If you see a error in my program- tell me! I made it quickly-
H=horizontal velocity
L= the horizontal point of release
V=vertical velocity
M=vertical point of release
n= time
If you change the values and do something wrong...just refresh the window and it should reset back!
Parametric functions
Best way to practice for this is the basketball/soccer slides, and
watching the video clips.
Solutions to basketball slides
all solutions are explained with steps
Slides to explain
videos below are on slides above!
converting parametrics to rectangular form video
I would watch ENTIRE vid
intro to parametrics
I would just watch until minute 4:30
start to graph a parametric curve with points (EASY)!!!
I would watch it ALL
A great Khan Academy vid- well done. However, they used meters instead of feet for gravitational
constant. But, great drawings and explains well the CONCEPT!
